9 of 14 regions of Volga federal district have agreed to join the Memorandum on creating interregional authorized organization for the purpose of joint realization of the project “universal electronic card”. This initiative of Tatarstan and preparation for issuing universal electronic cards to citizens and creating infrastructure of its usage in regions have been discussed today at session of District coordination board on development of information society in Volga federal district.

September,16. Stand of the Republic of Tatarstan started working within the limits of X international investment forum in Sochi. Delegations of Ministry of info and communications of Russia and Krasnodar region have already inspected Tatarstan stand “Electronic services”. Projects “Electronic Tatarstan”, models of IT-park, IT-village being constructed near Kazan and IT-park in Naberezhnye Chelny were presented on the stand. The advantage of republican stand was infomat of new generation and “kindermat” – infomat for children.

I International conference “Electronic school – 2011” has opened at GTRK “Riviera”. It is organized by RT Ministry of education and science and corporation “Intel” with the assistance of RT Ministry of info and communications. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, first Vice-speaker of RF State Duma Oleg Morozov, Deputy prime minister - Minister of info and communications Nikolay Nikiforov, RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, Vice-president of “Intel” Corporation John Davis and Director-general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin took part in plenary session of the conference.

Granting student ID cards to first-year students of Higher school of information systems and technologies on the basis of Kazan (Volga) Federal University took place in Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. Director of IT-park Dinar Nasyrov, Director of Higher school of information systems and technologies Airat Khasianov and rector of Kazan federal university Ilshat Gafurov congratulated students on the beginning of new period in their life.
