Delegation of New York state headed by Assembly deputy, chairman of committee on issues of new Americans Alec Brook-Krasny visited Technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT-park. The visit was held within the limits of working trip of the delegation to Tatarstan Republic.

The first 38 students will start education at Higher school of information systems and technologies of Kazan federal university in new academic year. Students who demonstrated the best results of Unified state exam in mathematics, Russian language and informatics will get free education. GAU “Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” allocated 30 personal grants for the total sum of 2,2 mln. roubles for the first academic year. In 2011/2012 cost of education will make 74 700 roubles.

Deputy Premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov informed in his microblog about starting of a contest “Clear sky of cities” (tag in Twitter #KazanSky). One who will publish in Twitter a Kazan house mostly winded with hanging cables will receive “Sony” camera with GPS. According to terms of the contest a picture of house should be taken so that it will be possible to count the number of cables noting the address and number of cables. The contest will last for 10 days, picture will be chosen by joint voting.

Conference for mobile developers “Mobile People 2011” will be held in October in Technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT-park. The event is organized by RT Ministry of info and communications, managing company «Startobaza», studio Knock Knock Group ad IT-park. People engaged in development and promotion of mobile applications are to visit the conference.

By the end of 2011 big cities of Tatarstan Republic should be relieved from unauthorized hanging communication lines. In accordance with RT Government Edict more than 1,8 thousand km of cables in Kazan, Zelenodolsk, Chistopol, Elabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetievsk, Leninogorsk and Bugulma should be changed to underground lines.

August,10. RF Minister of interiors Rashid Nurgaliev visited Technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT-park during his business trip to Tatarstan Republic. Head of RF Ministry of interiors was accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Kazan citizens can now pay gas and maintenance services rendered by enterprise OOO “Gasprom Transgas Kazan” via portal uslugi.tatar.ru. The service is available for subscribers of Central, Moscow, Yudino REGS (District operating gas service), KEGS (Complex operating gas service) “Gorki” and “Derbyshki”.

237 donations for the sum of 350 thousand roubles were received for the first 24 hours at the service on collecting charitable means for “Bulgaria” shipwreck victims via RT Portal of state and municipal services.
