Press conference “On opening higher school of info systems and technologies based on Kazan federal university” was held in briefing hall of Republican agency for press and mass communications “Tatmedia”. In the event took part Deputy Premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Director of State autonomous institution “Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” Dinar Nasyrov, Pro-rector on educational activity of Kazan federal university Riyaz Minzaripov, Director of higher school of info systems and technologies at Kazan federal university Airat Khasianov.

Deputy PM – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov checked condition of roof of the house located on Vishnevsky street where various cables are chaotically hanging. By words of Nikolai Nikiforov the purpose of such action was to know “how many of these cables were registered at any managing company and were there any approved projects”.

Chief of Federal agency for communications Valery Bugaenko aged 61 passed away at night on June, 29, Federal agency for communications informed.
V.N.Bugaenko devoted all his life to servicing his Motherland. From 1968 to 1999 he passed military service in Armed Forces and had military rank lieutenant-general. From 2000 – state civil service of Russian Federation: 2000-2004 – Deputy head and Head of Department for supervision in the sphere of communications and informatization at RF Ministry for communications and informatization; from 2004 - Chief of Federal service for supervision in the sphere of communications; from 2007 - Chief of Federal agency for communications. Acting state counselor of Russian Federation of the 3d class.

President of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliev staying in Kazan on a working trip visited several objects. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented Tatarstan achievements in the sphere of industry, sport and IT to Azerbaijan leader.

Reception of bids for the third contest selection of startups for location in Business incubator of IT-park has started. The bids will be accepted till July 20 2011 and should include presentation and business plan. One may see requirements and make a bid on web-site of Business incubator.

Business incubator of technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT-park has accepted new residents. The second contest selection of start-up projects for location in Business incubator was held the day before. 20 young IT companies which presented their projects to the expert group took part in the contest.
