Tatarstan start-ups to receive support upon entering international market
16 November 2011, Wednesday
The selection of innovative projects expected to be promoted at the international level with the help of Global Innovation Access (GIA) company took place in Kazan.
20 companies in the sphere of information and computer technologies, biomedicine and energy saving are preparing their strategies with support of Global Innovation Access. In the nearest time some of them will start promotion abroad. Other companies will get opportunity to speed up development of their products by means of attracting investments and grants.
200 projects were considered at the preliminary stage. Only one tenth of them passed to the next stage.
“As usual many projects in the sphere of energy saving and medicine were presented, but the correlation of really interesting and promising projects in the sphere of information and computer technologies was especially high. Most of projects are already residents of the “IT-park” or business incubator, or pretend to get this status. It means that properly created infrastructure component really comprises the best innovative projects”, Director of Global Innovation Access Renata Akhunova stated.
“The activity of Business incubator of Kazan IT-park is based on the principle of supporting young IT-companies. A team pretending to be located in Business incubator comes with a very simple description of their project. We help them to realize their ideas by involving experts from various spheres who are working on the project for two or three days. After such preliminary preparation projects are assessed by independent IT-experts. The best projects become residents of Business incubator and receive overall support”, Director-general of Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” Dinar Nasyrov said.
The selected projects define the route of development. The most practically feasible will start it in Skolkovo, others will participate in SmartUp program launched in the Silicon Valley by Global Innovation Access. In both cases projects will get assistance in attracting investments and grants, preparation of documents for passing formal procedures, improvement of products and development of strategies.
On November 27, "Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" and Globus IT, a leading Russian integrator, signed a strategic agreement to establish a joint laboratory for training IT specialists, focused on building project teams for specific business needs. Director of "IT Park" Ruslan Vlasov and CEO of Globus IT Pavel Korotkiy with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, represented by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Bulat Gabdrakhmanov signed the document, which lays the foundation for a fundamentally new approach to technology education.
When there is no connection with a family in service, the family goes through a difficult time. This is used by attackers: fake communities appear in the messengers and social networks, promising «help» in finding missing SVO members. In fact, their goal is not to support, but to steal money and collect personal data through the distribution of malware.
Scammers may try to contact relatives to trick them into revealing personal information or to organize fundraising campaigns under the guise of "assistance."
In 2024, Russian Startup Week gathered over 2,500 participants, over 200 startups from Tatarstan and neighboring regions presented their ideas, and partners invested a record 23 million roubles in grants to develop promising projects. This year, we are providing even more opportunities for everyone who wants to be part of the innovation ecosystem!
On November 22, the Bashir Rameev IT-park hosted the third TATAR SUN IT conference.
This time, the event brought together over 1,000 participants: professional developers, students, business representatives and those shaping the republic's digital future.
