Join the All-Russian campaign "IT Donor Week"

26 May 2026, Tuesday

From June 1 to June 6, 2026, the "IT Donor Week" will be held for the twelfth time. Anyone over 18 can donate blood and help those who need it right now.

Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Andrey Plutnitsky noted that Russia has only 10 donors per one thousand residents. At the same time, statistics show that one in three people will need a blood transfusion at least once in their lifetime.

The Artsofte Company launched "IT Donor" social project which grew from an idea of a few enthusiasts in Yekaterinburg into the largest donor movement within the IT community. The campaign unites not only IT professionals but also doctors, teachers, students, industrial workers and other participants.

Since the campaign launched in the fall of 2020, participants have donated blood approximately 6,000 times, replenishing the blood bank by more than 2,500 liters. According to estimates by the Blood Service, this is enough to save over 10,000 lives. The project has attracted participants from 240 cities and employees from 650 companies.
