Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the biggest international investment funds discuss future development of Tatarstan

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with chiefs of big international investment funds. Issues of future development of IT-sector in republic, realization of high-tech projects, and involvement of young specialists for work in Tatarstan were discussed at the meeting.
The event was held in the context of close two-day forum «Runa Capital VC Forum» aimed at decreasing joint transactions between Russian venture companies and biggest European and American players.
Attendees at the forum organized under the auspices of the Tatarstan Government and international venture fund Runa Capital were leading companies of Russian and Western venture market including Almaz Capital, Russia Partners, Itech Capital, Troika Ventures.
Moderators at today’s meeting were Nikolay Nikiforov, vice Premier – Minister of informatization and communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Sergey Belousov, founder of Parallels and Acronis companies, senior partner and founder of Runa Capital fund.
About 50 people representing 22 investment funds engaged in analyzing and searching for technology teams and innovative projects and investing in their development took part in the event.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
On November 27, "Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" and Globus IT, a leading Russian integrator, signed a strategic agreement to establish a joint laboratory for training IT specialists, focused on building project teams for specific business needs. Director of "IT Park" Ruslan Vlasov and CEO of Globus IT Pavel Korotkiy with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, represented by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Bulat Gabdrakhmanov signed the document, which lays the foundation for a fundamentally new approach to technology education.
