The ceremony of awarding teachers of the republican contest “IT teacher 2012” was held at the Kazan IT-park. First Minister of informatization and communications Yuri Bagrov, CEO of the Center of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova, Deputy Director of the Sate Autonomous Institution “High technology technopark IT-park” Iskander Dinislamov, Deputy Director of the higher school of information technology and information systems (ITIS) Irina Maksimova, and Chief of the Department for information technologies development of the RT Ministry of education and science Nadezhda Sulimova congratulated best Tatarstan teachers.
137 new-generation infomats will be installed in Tatarstan within one or two months. 145 first generation infomats continue operating. Thus, total number of infomats will increase twice.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with co-owner of telecommunication company “Osnova Telecom” Vitaly Yusufov. The meeting was held at the Tatarstan Government House with participation of Deputy PM and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin, Director General of OAO “Tattelekom” Lutfulla Shafigullin.
The Kazan Data center has become the fifth data processing center to receive in Russia Tier 3 certificate. By the way, two of them were constructed only for needs of the owner and do not offer their facilities for leasing. It is a unique event for Russian regions, IT-park press service informs.
Shareholder of OAO “Osnova Telecom” Vitaly Yusufov has visited the Kazan IT-park. “Osnova Telecom” was founded with participation of a subsidiary company of the defence Ministry. It is building the LTE network in Russia.

Deputy Director General on management, operation and development and network “Russian TV and radio broadcasting network” Viktor Pinchuk informed that TV analog signals will be gradually cut off in Russia in the period of 2014-2017 at a press conference in IT-park.

Digital TV broadcasting DVB-T2 was launched in Tatarstan in March 2012. Now it covers 40 % of the republican territory. By the end of 2012 the coverage area is to make 70 % and 85 % by 2013. Analog TV broadcasting will not be used in Tatarstan from 2017 at all.
