Governor of Kaliningrad region Nikolai Tsukanov visits IT-park

Governor of Kaliningrad region Nikolai Tsukanov accompanied by Deputy PM and Head of the RT Cabinet Staff Shamil Gafarov visited IT-park during his working trip to Tatarstan.
Guests were met by deputy ministers of informatization and communications Anisa Gainullina and Anatoly Geller, and Director of High Technology Technopark Dinar Nasyrov. Deputy Chairman of Government of Kaliningrad region Aleksandr Rolbinov, Head of the city district “The city of Kaliningrad” Aleksandr Yaroshuk, and employee of representation of Kaliningrad region in Moscow Igor Petrusha were on the delegation.
Dinar Nasyrov told about the history of IT-park establishment, resident policy and development of IT education in republic. He told that 2000 employees worked in IT-park at that moment. Average output for one specialist exceeded 2,2 mln rubles in 2012. Dinar Nasyrov told about training of practice-oriented specialists at higher school of information technologies and systems, where students undertake practice from the second semester. He also said about opening of IT lyceum in Universiade Village.
Projects of first-time entrepreneurs were presented in Business incubator.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
