East Kazakhstan region is interested in Tatarstan’s information technologies

Representatives of East Kazakhstan region visited Kazan IT-park during their working trip to Tatarstan. Guests were met by Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Anatoly Geller. The Kazakhstan delegation consisted of Head of the Department for youth policy of East Kazakhstan region Zhasulan Sarsebaev, Managing Director of the Center of development of innovative infrastructures Samat Sagyndykov.
Anatoly Geller told about the history of IT-park, training of staff for IT companies, and showed Data center. Guests also got acquainted with startups in Business incubator. In particular, the system of audiovisual speech recognition developed by “RealSpeaker” company was presented. Another resident of Business incubator, Avtodoria developed the system for revealing traffic rules violation.

Speaking at the weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Head of the management of Tatarstan Post Ilnur Makhmutov said that in 2025, employees of the federal postal service management "Tatarstan Post" delivered 55 million letters and 16 million newspapers.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
