Tatarstan’s IT potential presented to representatives of Malaysian company XYBASE

Representatives of IT-park presented Tatarstan’s IT potential to President and founder of Malaysian company XYBASE Suhaimi Abu Hassan. The guest was accompanied by Chief executive of the Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov. XYBASE Managing Director Lim Hwa Eng and implementation expert Erman Wahaab were on the Malaysian delegation.
Malaysian company XYBASE developed the system for electronic support of business processes BLESS based on one-stop principle. The system has proved its efficiency in terms of interaction between business and authorities and formation of favourable investment climate in Malaysia.
The guests were told about resident policy of IT-park, IT education in the region. Data center was also shown to the delegation. Projects of first-time entrepreneurs were presented in Business incubator.
Manager of the project Fixfeel Eldar Faizullin demonstrated work of the most emotional network in the world, Manager of the project SpeakTo Artem Arkhipov told about service providing cloud solutions for holding video conferences, online broadcasts and webinars. Linar Yakupov demonstrated work of electronic document management system.
Guests were also told about rendering of state services in electronic format.
Finally, Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov told about functioning of the unified information system “GLONASS+112”.
Speaking at the weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Head of the management of Tatarstan Post Ilnur Makhmutov said that in 2025, employees of the federal postal service management "Tatarstan Post" delivered 55 million letters and 16 million newspapers.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
