Smart on-door speakerphones “Speakphone” equipped with Megafon sim cards installed in Privolzhsky district of Kazan

“Speakphone” is an innovative announcing system that is installed in the entrance of houses. While opening the door, citizens receive socially important information about cutting off hot water, payment of fines at home, places where they can buy tickets for Universiade, etc.
The information is chosen and prepared by housing and utility services, responsible ministries and agencies. Megafon company in cooperation with remote resident of Business incubator of the Kazan IT-park - “Speakphone” provided 200 sim cards and resources. Information is sent from the “Speakphone” server to the “smart” on-door speakerphones.
Besides, the system enables informing citizens in emergency situations via indoor receivers of on-door speakerphones. 18 entrances of houses are now equipped with “Speakphone” devices in Privolzhsky district of Kazan. It is planned to install such devices in all districts of the capital and million cities in the Russian Federation.
Speaking at the weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Head of the management of Tatarstan Post Ilnur Makhmutov said that in 2025, employees of the federal postal service management "Tatarstan Post" delivered 55 million letters and 16 million newspapers.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
