At the ceremony held at the Bashir Rameev IT Park, the winners of the regional Computer Multidiscipline Championship "Khikmet" — "Buynnar beileneshe" ("Connection of Generations") were announced. The best participants will represent Tatarstan at the XVI All-Russian Championship in Ryazan, to be held from June 23 to 26.
Since the beginning of 2025, Tatarstan has been implementing the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", which is aimed at transformation of public administration, the economy and the social sphere. To achieve this, the national project focuses on strengthening cybersecurity, ensuring stable internet access, training IT specialists and developing domestic digital platforms and services. The ultimate aim is to make people's lives more convenient and key sectors more efficient.
On June 10, the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan will host the second open lecture of the "Scientific Code: Summer Lectures" series titled "What is a black hole really?" with the speaker Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, host of the programme "The Question of Science" and author of popular science films Aleksey Semikhatov.
On June 9, at the Bashir Rameev IT Park, grandparents and their grandchildren are competing for victory in the regional Championship "Khikmet" — "Buynnar beleneshe" ("Connection of Generations"). The final features 180 participants from 45 regions of Tatarstan who advanced through municipal qualifying rounds.
During the first five months of 2026, Tatarstan residents have had 15,200 applications for support measures approved, totaling 2.4 billion roubles. This assistance intended for rural residents, entrepreneurs and companies was approved online through the "My Subsidies" service. Since the beginning of the year, residents of Tatarstan have submitted a total of 18,900 applications through the platform.
The Russian government has expanded the list of organizations eligible to obtain IT accreditation. According to the new decree, developers with state participation now also have this right, but on condition that their work meets the new criteria.
Before the start of the school holidays, Letay Telecom Operator has increased network capacity near children's summer camps in the republic. Work was carried out, in particular, near the camps "Landysh", "Chayka", "Yunost" and the educational and research center "Fensar". During the past academic year, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization together with major IT companies conducted 38 digital literacy lessons in schools across the republic. The nationwide projects "Digital Lesson" and "Digital Literacy" were held with the support of the national project "Data Economy" and reached 2,000 children.

Ilya Nachvin and Deputy Director General of VympelCom Maksim Zaykov signed an agreement on expanding cooperation in digital technologies and implementing national projects. The parties agreed to expand the use of audio analytics with AI elements, tools for video recording of administrative violations and to implement geospatial analytics services based on big data.
