The project is being implemented by the Regional Branch of the Union of Russian Pensioners in Tatarstan within the framework of the "Active Longevity" policy. The programme is aimed at people of retirement age. The training is based on computer literacy and smartphone work free of charge. The training started on September 5 throughout Tatarstan in various educational institutions.
About 2.500 pensioners enrolled in 24 educational programmes in Kazan, and about 6,000 people throughout the republic. One of the venues is the Children's IT Park, which also provides its training site free of charge, supports in every possible way and rejoices in the successes of its wards. The IT Park notes the importance and necessity of training our pensioners in the context of the active introduction of information technology into everyday life.
