Applications are now being accepted for the "Development-AI" competition. It offers small enterprises from Tatarstan the opportunity to receive grants of up to 30 million roubles for developing new IT products based on artificial intelligence. Applications are accepted until 10:00 AM on July 20, 2026.

From June 17 to 19, Kazan will once again become a hub for developing international relations. The Russia–ASEAN Summit will take place in the capital of Tatarstan. The meeting is timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue between our country and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

A professional development programme for college instructors in the republic started in Kazan. They will master methods for leading clubs where students will create industry-specific AI agents – digital assistants designed to solve specific enterprise tasks.

The training opened at the International Center of Competences – Kazan College of Information Technologies and Communications. A total of 120 educators from 70 educational organizations in Tatarstan have started the classes, 100 of whom became winners of the "Teacher – Leader of an Artificial Intelligence Club" grant competition this year.

Speaking at a weekly meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Director of Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan Aleksey Edelskov said that the Centre will scale the "GosPrompt" service for public administration and implement AI agents in education, healthcare, construction, agriculture and environmental protection under the artificial intelligence development programme.

Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrakhmanov handed in awards to 19 specialists from the multifunctional centers of the republic (MFCs). The awarding ceremony took place in Sabinsky region following the summing up meeting of Multifunctional centre over the first five months of 2026.

There are 60 MFC branches operating in Tatarstan. They serve approximately 15,000 people daily and provide 303 types of services. During the first five months of 2026, MFC employees delivered over 2.2 million services.

Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization together with Central University invites you to a workshop on assembling a mini-synthesizer for creating electronic music with your own hands, as well as a lecture titled "What is media art and where to learn it" by Academic Director of the Master's programme in Media Art at the Central University School of Design Ekaterina Belyaeva. Participation is free.

On June 10, the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan hosted the second open lecture of the "Scientific Code: Summer Lectures" series, which brought together an audience of 1,000 and was held by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and host of the programme "The Question of Science" Aleksey Semikhatov, who debunked popular myths about black holes.

For the opening of the summer fishing season in Tatarstan, Megafon has installed additional telecommunications equipment. Fishermen on the Myosha River, dacha residents and motorists on the M7 and M12 highways now have stable connection. This is especially important for staying in touch while enjoying outdoor recreation in areas where the network may have previously been overloaded.

In the first five months of 2026, residents of the republic transferred over 13 billion roubles through the State Services Portal of Tatarstan ("Gosuslugi RT").

A wide range of services are available on one website, accessible in just a few clicks. Today, the portal has 3.2 million personal accounts.

On June 1, Non‑profit organization "Digital Economy" together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Russian Ministry of Education and the country's leading technology companies, launched a new season of the all‑Russian project for children's camps "Day of Digit". The project is implemented in support of the national project "Data Economy" and for the fifth year, introduces schoolchildren to IT professions, modern technologies and digital literacy in a light, game‑based format – right during their summer holidays.
