«MTS», digital ecosystem, informs about the appointment of Marat Kabanov to the post of Director of the branch of MTS in Tatarstan. The main directions of the new director’s work will be the introduction of innovative products and services of the company that contribute to the digitalization of the region’s economy, the promotion of the ecosystem of digital services, cloud technologies, IoT, Big Data, mobile and fixed MTS communication services in Tatarstan. 

On April 22, 2024, the 10th All-Russian contest of personal achievements of pensioners in studying computer literacy «Thanks to the Internet - 2024» started. Pensioners and senior citizens (50+), who are trained to work on the computer and the Internet as independently and have completed specialized courses are invited to participate.

Previously, he headed the regional representative office of a telecom operator in the Kirov region. In his new post, Konstantin Gagarinov will strengthen the position of the mobile operator in the telecom market of the republic, and will be responsible for the development of the company in Tatarstan, the growth of financial performance and subscriber base, as well as improving the quality of customer service.

In March, Letay base stations were modernized in suburban areas, which led to an increase in the quality of the communication signal and the speed of mobile Internet for residents of the villages of Stolbishche and Gabishevo in the Laishevo region, as well as the villages of Mirny and Konstantinovka near Kazan.

The attention to these locations is not accidental: in spring, traffic additionally moves outside the city, due to which the load on the network of suburban base stations is “densifying”.

A new convenient and long-awaited service for kindergartens appeared on the State and Municipal Services Portal - ordering an e-certificate of charged and paid parental fees. About 10,000 such paper certificates are issued annually in Kazan. At the same time, parents spend at least 1 hour going in person to get the document. With this service, it is not necessary to go anywhere, the order of a free and legally significant certificate takes only 5 minutes.

On April 23 at 10 a.m., the Export Support Center of the non-profit microcredit company Entrepreneurship Support Fund of Tatarstan holds a webinar on the topic “Access to international marketplaces of China and Southeast Asia”.

The “GO CTF 2024” tournament is the first team contest for schoolchildren and students in the information security, including more than 20 tasks in task format. For participants, this is a chance to get to know the profession more closely: they can try their hand at real cases and get an assessment of their competencies.

The senior schoolchildren have a busy time of preparation for admission. By April, the activity of applicants and their parents on the websites of the leading universities of the country increased year-on-year by 54 per cent.
