According to Letay operator, women living in Tatarstan were more active in using mobile communication in 2025 compared to men. Despite having more male subscribers, female residents of the republic communicated 1.5 times more via phone and social networks.

MTS company has launched an interactive course titled “Cybersecurity: a guide against scammers”, which is available for Tatarstan residents of any age and is aimed at increasing digital literacy and informing about tools to protect against fraud.

Course consists of 12 thematic modules.

On March 5, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization hosted a seminar-meeting on key issues of combating corruption took place, which was attended by representatives from the IT industry, public and trade union organizations.

Lobachevsky Lyceum in Kazan hosted an open lesson of the all-Russian educational project "Digital Literacy" dedicated to the theme "Learn Honestly."

Digital Literacy project is:

An educational initiative aimed at increasing digital literacy among adults and children, raising awareness about cybersecurity

It includes a series of animated videos and methodological materials for teachers, available on the project’s website for everyone.

The competition commission, headed by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrahmanov announced the winners of the regional contest “Best Multifunctional Centre of Tatarstan”.

On March 14, at 2 p.m.  International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites applicants, their parents and everyone interested to the Open Day event to be held in Kazan, st. Bari Galeeva, 3A, building 3a (busstop: “Sovetskaya Square”).

In 2025, Beeline significantly expanded its 4G network across Kazan and the entire republic. On average, a new base station went live every ten hours without breaks or weekends. This ensured more stable communication in residential areas, villages and along highways.

Residents of the IT Park, Peresvet Company, together with the Russian National Guard and GLONASS have created the app “PERESVET-GLONASS,” which allows users to send danger signals to emergency services.

The app is developed for employees of educational and social institutions to prevent emergencies. It has been added to the “white list,” meaning it can be used even without a stable internet connection.

On February 27, 2026, School No. 73 in Kazan's Privolzhsky district hosted an open "Digital Lesson" on the topic of "Data Analysis: How algorithms help everyone find what they need", which is a part of a nationwide educational project organized by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, the Russian Ministry of Education and the Digital Economy non-commercial organization in partnership with major Russian IT companies and Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
