Congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the first Kazan Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park"!
On October 23, 2009, the opening ceremony of the first technology park in Russia took place. The date was timed to coincide with the arrival of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev under the Russia – Sports Power forum. The Technology Park in the field of information and communication technologies was created on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the Integrated Program «Creation of High-Tech Parks in the Russian Federation». After a year of operation, the IT park was already recognized as the best in the country.
During its operation, the technology park was awarded the title of the best in Russia three times according to the rating of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
Currently, the Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" is three large sites in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny with a total area of 105,000 square meters, as well as a network of 21 municipal branches and more than 10 areas of extra-budgetary activities. As many as 6.5 thousand specialists work in 567 resident companies.
