The 9th All-Russian contest of personal achievements of pensioners in the study of computer literacy "Thanks to the Internet - 2023" is held by the Pension Fund of Russia and Rostelecom Telecommunication Company. Pensioners from 52 regions of Russia take part in the contest. The most active regions are: the Republic of Crimea, Moscow region, Orenburg region, St. Petersburg, Ulyanovsk region, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Tatarstan, Kemerovo region, Krasnodar region, Rostov region. As many as 21 applications for the contest were received from Tatarstan.

System Administrator Appreciation Day takes place on the last Friday of July. Due to the Digital Economy national project, it is possible without a personal visit to the Admissions Committees, queues and paper documents, you only need a verified account on the State Services Portal .

According to the results of voting, as many as 87 settlements of Tatarstan will be determined to be provided mobile access to high-speed Internet in 2024. All settlements with a population of 100 to 500 can vote. Every Tatarstan resident at the age of 18 can cast vote for one rural settlement located in a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, where the voter has a permanent registration at the place of residence. To participate in the voting it is necessary to follow the link, the voting will last until August 13, 2023.

The Day of Digit is the All-Russian educational project in information technologies for extra-curricular school-wide events and children's camps, implemented in support of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

On July 14, Kazan hosted the first graduation of School 21 participants. During their studies, they learned several programming languages, learned to work on their projects individually and in a team, and also completed mandatory internships at major IT companies in the region. Today, all of them are successfully employed and work in Sberbank, Centre of Digital Transformation, Armor, AK Bars, Nitsikonsystem, Tinkoff and other companies. As practice shows, most often the participants chose the profession of a developer (GO, Java, Python, C, C + ), data engineer and DevOps.

MTS, a digital ecosystem, has launched a new free audio guide «Kazan-Bolgar», a 180 kilometer route which also passes the Laishevsky region, connected with the early period of life of Gavriil Derzhavin. Guests and residents of the republic will have the opportunity to listen to the history of the writer’s family and childhood, passing through the villages of Sokury, Egoryevo and Derzhavino, located along the route of the audio guide. The memory of the great countryman is immortalized in his native Tatarstan land.

A Fan ID number is required for buying tickets for matches of the Russian Premier League.
