The 9th All-Russian contest of personal achievements of pensioners in the study of computer literacy "Thanks to the Internet - 2023" is held by the Pension Fund of Russia and Rostelecom Telecommunication Company. Pensioners from 52 regions of Russia take part in the contest. The most active regions are: the Republic of Crimea, Moscow region, Orenburg region, St. Petersburg, Ulyanovsk region, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Tatarstan, Kemerovo region, Krasnodar region, Rostov region. As many as 21 applications for the contest were received from Tatarstan.

According to the results of voting, as many as 87 settlements of Tatarstan will be determined to be provided mobile access to high-speed Internet in 2024. All settlements with a population of 100 to 500 can vote. Every Tatarstan resident at the age of 18 can cast vote for one rural settlement located in a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, where the voter has a permanent registration at the place of residence. To participate in the voting it is necessary to follow the link, the voting will last until August 13, 2023.
