In Tatarstan, the most persistent scammer called 290 times in 6 minutes

Beeline's anti-fraud system has blocked more than 1.3 million fraudulent calls in Tatarstan. Including, 415 thousand times the scammers wanted to deceive residents of the republic over 60. However, nothing worked out - all these calls were blocked by Beeline security systems.

Kazan entered the top Russian cities with the most activity of telephone scammers based on the results of the first five months of 2024. The capital of Tatarstan ranked fourth behind Moscow, St. Petersburg and Stavropol. According to operator statistics, the most often scammers called male customers – 60 per cent. The average age of a potential victim is 43 years for men and 46 years for women. The longest fraudulent attack in Kazan lasted about 6 minutes, during which time the attackers tried to call one subscriber more than 290 times.
