Ayrat Khayrullin informs about the implementation of the Digital Economy national project in Tatarstan
At a briefing in the Tatmedia regional agency, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin spoke about the implementation of the “Digital economy” national project.
• The IT industry of Tatarstan employs more than 3% of the working population – that is more than 40,000 people. The increase over the year amounted to almost 2,000 specialists
• More than 200 new IT companies have appeared in the region, the total number is 3364 companies. Three of them are systemically important enterprises of Russia - ICL, Tattelecom, Bars Group. 12 companies, including those listed, are systemically important organizations of the republic. All of them managed to maintain positive development dynamics.
• At the end of 2023, the volume of industry revenue in the republic amounted to 177 billion roubles. The growth drivers became increased sales of domestic software, computer production and information security and digitalization of the region. The forecast value of revenue by the end of 2024 is more than 225 billion roubles.
Khayrullin also said that since 2021, Tatarstan has been a leading region in the implementation of digital solutions under the “Digital Economy” national project. The republic is marked by the federal center as the leader in digital transformation. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization also spoke about important current projects.
