Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization and collages: joining efforts to train IT personnel
On February 18, an important meeting devoted to the issues of training personnel for the IT sector and the interaction of educational institutions with IT industry enterprises was held with the heads of secondary specialized education of Tatarstan, training in IT programmes. The meeting participants discussed key points, such as interaction with industrial partners, new Federal State Educational Standards for IT disciplines and the processes of adapting training to them, as well as current trends in the IT industry and in the labor market. Participants noted the high demand for IT specialists and the existing shortage of teachers, which can potentially be covered by their own graduates, or special incentive programmes from the state.
Also, current federal projects and support measures for IT specialists were considered.
Such pressing federal projects and measures to support IT specialists as Code of the Future, Professionals Championship and extension of the IT mortgage programme to 2030 at 6 percent per annum were also considered.
Such events play a key role in training highly qualified personnel, which will allow Tatarstan to take a leading position in technologies and provide young people with access to the best educational programmes in the IT field.
