Due to the unified navigation system “GLONASS+112” that has been functioning in Tatarstan since 2009, all emergency services were united into the single system. It allows immediately respond to threat or occurrence of an emergency situation. Anyone who gets into trouble or wants to help an injured person just needs to dial the number “112” on mobile telephone. After receiving a call the dispatcher immediately sends a team of rescuers, ambulance or brigade of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate being close to the place of accident.
