A month's campaign for improving quality of communication services in RT to be prolonged

A month’s campaign for improving quality of mobile radio telephone communication, cable and on-air TV broadcasting, Internet access that was announced in Tatarstan Republic on January, 24 will be prolonged. Such decision was announced at briefing in RT Cabinet with participation of RT Deputy PM – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Deputy Head of RT Cabinet office Airat Khairullin, Head of Dept. of Russian communication supervision service on RT Airat Zaripov.
We remind that on January, 24 republican citizens were permitted to leave comments regarding quality of communication services via interactive service on website of RT Ministry of info and communications and via hotline (843) 5-114-115.
According to Nikolai Nikiforov, from the beginning of a month's campaign 1244 appeals were received from Tatarstan citizens. Currently 96 % of these appeals have been considered, the Minister said. The number of appeals decreased 19 times in comparison with the beginning of campaign.
Ministry of info and communications came to agreement with operators on launching 268 additional base stations in February-March 2011. 106 of them have already been installed in February. This work will be continued in March and base stations will appear on other problematic areas including highway “Kazan – Airport”.
Besides, by words of Airat Khairullin, while buying SIM cards customers will be informed about problems with communication in certain areas.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
