32, 000 requests were sent to emergency service 112 last week

More than 32, 000 appeals for help sent to emergency service 112 were processed by operators of the call centre last week. The average response waiting time was 17 seconds. The most frequent reason of calls was deterioration of health (29 %), violation of public order (16 %), and road accidents (10 %).

The emergency service 112 is working on the basis of state information system GLONASS+112 since July 2009.
