Gross income of info and communications enterprises in RT increased by 23,6 % and made 35,5 bln. roubles in 2010. Such data were given by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov at the ministry’s board session. Investments into the sector have made 4,88 bln. roubles in 2010. Main investments were made into development of infrastructure and adoption of info-communication technologies and informatization.

Awarding of winners in mass media contest of RT Ministry of informatization and communications “People bound thread” was held in techno park in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. A weekly contest among representatives of mass media is organized for the purpose of attracting mass media for objective coverage of problems and prospects of development of enterprises in the sphere of informatization and communications in RT, for providing explanatory work, openness and transparence of the ministry’s activity, disclosure of technical tendencies of development in this sphere and use of information technologies by Tatarstan population, also search for new ways of interaction of ministries and mass media.

Full provision of republican population with socially significant TV channels should be the main result of implementing the Republican targeted program “Organization of digital television and radio broadcasting in Tatarstan Republic for 2011-2015”. This has been announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov at session of Republican commission on developing television and radio broadcasting and transfer to digital technologies in RT.

First session of interdepartmental working group on coordinating activity on creation of information-communicative environment and telecommunication infrastructure while preparation and holding of XXVII World summer universiade 2013 in Kazan has taken place in Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. The session was held by Co-chairmen of working group ,Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of informatization and communications of Tatarstan Republic Nikolai Nikiforov and Deputy Minister of mass communications of Russian Federation Iliya Massukh.

Agreement on scientific-technical cooperation between Siberian division of Russian academy of sciences and RT Government was signed in Novosibirsk within the limits of working visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Novosibirsk region.Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov and Acting chairman of Siberian division of Russian academy of sciences, academician Renad Sagdeev put signatures in the document.

December, 14. A solemn ceremony of handing State Awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan took place in representative building of the Kazan Kremlin. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov handed awards and honorary titles to outstanding figures of republic. 39 people were awarded with honorary titles of the Republic of Tatarstan, 14 – of the Russian Federation. Among them were employees of communications sector.

Capacities of using information technologies in work of public authorities by the example of the project “E-government of the Republic of Tatarstan” were presented to members of delegation of Volgograd oblast in the course of visiting technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT - park” in Kazan.We remind that delegation of Volgograd oblast headed by the governor Anatoly Brovko arrived in Kazan with two-day working visit. The guests visited a number of sport objects built in Kazan within the limits of preparatory actions for Universiade 2013 and IT-park that was presented by RT Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Dinar Nasyrov. In particular, he told about realization of the project “Electronic Tatarstan” that was started in 2005, presented capacities of “E-government of the Republic of Tatarstan” and the project “Electronic documents circulation” with use of electronic digital signature.

President of Finland Tarja Halonen visited Kazan technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. She was accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. The day before Tarja Halonen had met with RF President Dmitry Medvedev and RF Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. They discussed development of innovative small companies and implmenetation of information technologies in socially important sectors. The Republic of Tatarstan was mentioned as a region where such projects are being successfully realized.
