Singapore Ambassador Lim Heng Hua visits IT park

The Singapore Ambassador Lim Heng Hua has visited IT park within the framework of the visit to APEC forum held in Kazan.
Ms Lim Heng Hua was met by Vice PM – Minister of communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Director of IT park Dinar Nasyrov and Deputy Director-general of GUP “Center of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan” Anton Grachev.
Tatarstan became the first Russian region Lim Heng Hua visited from the moment of taking the office of Singapore Ambassador to Russian Federation.
Roman Shaikhutdinov told about construction of the second site of IT park in Naberezhnye Chelny and plans on building the innovative satellite town – Innopolis where 150 thousand IT specialists and their families will work. He also told about opportunities of IT park with a special and the country’s largest Data-center.
During the meeting with Lim Heng Hua the parties agreed on further cooperation in the sphere of information projects of Singapore and Tatarstan.
The Tatarstan system of coordinating emergency services GLONASS+112 and Business incubator were shown to the Singapore Ambassador later on.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
