A traditional Saturday clean-up campaign was held at many Kazan companies and enterprises. IT park employees decided to combine work with pleasure. After cleaning work places everyone enjoyed IT entertainment, - Segway driving, plush Angry Birds playing, taking pictures with Wall-E. Moreover, the weekend picnic was organised for everyone.
The state information system “Public control” started functioning in Kazan in April 2012. The system enables citizens to interact with republican and municipal authorities in new format. 7,6 thousand requests have been received from Tatarstan citizens for this period of time.
10th selection of startups for Business incubator finished on April 14 at Kazan IT park. The selection procedure was divided in several parts. On the first day experts saw 34 presentations that had been selected before. Businessmen from Kazan, Moscow, Ufa, Almetievsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Birsk and Naberezhnye Chelny presented their projects.
The computer consulting centre for elderly people opened in Kazan on April 15 within the framework of social programme “Grandmother and grandfather online”.
One more 4G mobile operator OAO “Osnova telecom” will start working in Tataarstan. The Agreement on strategic partnership was signed between Tatarstan Government and management of OAO “Osnova telecom” on April 12.
New computer manufacturing plant «ICL KPO VS» opened today in Laishevo region (Tatarstan). President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in official opening ceremony.
President of Tatarstan, Board Chairman of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia Rustam Minnikhanov signed a number of documents within the framework of cooperation between Russia and the Netherlands in Amsterdam. The event was dated to official opening of the Year of Russia in the Netherlands and the Year of the Netherlands in Russia with participation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin (8th of April).
Free digital TV broadcasting was launched in nine municipal regions of Tatarstan. On April 4 Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and Deputy Director General on management for state programmes and capital construction of “Russian television and radio broadcasting network” Boris Terebilenko launched digital TV broadcasting at TV centre in Bilyarsk (Alekseevsky region, Tatarstan).
Participants of video bridge “Moscow-Tatarstan: issues of electronic document management and electronic democracy” discussed prospects of electronic government in Russia.
Delegation of Ingush Republic led by the President Yunus-Bek Evkurov visited Kazan IT-park. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov accompanied the guests.
