Tatarstan youth consider employment, respectable salary and housing to be most urgent problems

The forum aimed to inform young employees of information and communication industry about social and public projects, programmes implemented in the sphere of youth policy that may be helpful in realization of important tasks, prospects of the industry, main areas of youth policy at IT companies was held in Kazan.
Head of Personnel Department Svetlana Afanasieva welcomed the audience on behalf of the Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov.
Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism Rustam Garifullin said that IT industry is the most prospective one in Russia and Tatarstan.
Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan Labour Union Federation Marat Gafarov made report saying that currently the youth makes 40.5 per cent of the total number of labour unions. He said that raising of living standards of young people should be the main part of labour contracts. Marat Gafarov pointed out unemployment as the most urgent problem of Tatarstan youth. Thus, he believes that it is necessary to promote professional training and internships for unemployed citizens.
Tatarstan Labour Union Federation sent some proposals to the Government on providing an opportunity for organizations engaged in youth employment to participate in innovative programs and preferences in distribution of state orders and get employers interested in young specialists.
Chairman of Tatarstan Labour Union Federation also focused on the issues of salary and housing.
