Kazan citizens to bid farewell to Aleksandr Yurtaev on Sunday

Civil funeral for Aleksandr Nikolaevich Yurtaev will be held on August 10 in NCC Kazan on 9:30 a.m.
One of ideologists of the project “Electronic Government of the Republic of Tatarstan” and creators of the business portal TatCenter.ru, Doctor of Economics Aleksandr Yurtaev deceased on August 5 when he was 62.
More than 12 years, from 1998 to 2011, Aleksandr Yurtaev headed the Information Analytical Department at the Cabinet of Ministers and Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. He made a considerable contribution to informatization of public administration and implementation of the project “Electronic Government of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
In 2006 publishing office of Kazan State University published his monograph “Electronic Government: conceptual approaches to its formation”. It has become a reference book of Russian government employees who take an active part in reformation of public administration system.
Representatives of Russian and Tatarstan authorities, Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication expressed deepest condolences to Aleksandr Yurtaev’s family and relatives.
