In June 2013 a considerable increase of 3G+ Internet traffic transmitted to OAO Rostelecom subscribers was fixed in Tatarstan.
At yesterday’s meeting at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on implementation of Innopolis project Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov approved the title of first street – the University street. The name was chosen after online voting on the website Innopolis.ru. 350 users took part in the voting.

On July 8 USA Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul visited Kazan IT park. He was met by IT park Director Anton Grachev.
On July 8 Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning Department of the World Economic Forum Stephan Mergenthaler and Director for Russia and CIS at the World Economic Forum Anastassia Aubakirova visited Kazan IT park. Guests were met by the Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov.
On July 8 Director of High Technology Technopark IT park Anton Grachev introduced new Director of Naberezhnye Chelny IT park – Timur Khaziev, who had headed OAO Alabuga before.

On July 6 during his official visit to Kazan Governor of Kaliningrad region Nikolay Tsukanov visited IT park that was acknowledged the best technopark in Russia. He was met by Tatarstan Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and IT park Director Anton Grachev.

On the threshold of Universiade Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication coordinated organisation of broadcasting at sports venues.
Avtodoria, a developer of innovative systems for revealing violations and processing data to ensure traffic safety, is launching a pilot project to control average speed in Ingushetia. Overspeeding is the most common violation in many Russian regions.

Kazan pupils, Bekzhan Dzhumakov and Bulat Karimov, finalists of the international scientific competition, were honoured in Moscow Google office on July 3. They presented one of 90 ideas that may change the world. Tatarstan Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in the event.
