IT centre of breakthrough research to be created at Innopolis University

Innopolis University is among 19 finalists of the contest of Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media and Ministry of Education and Science aimed at selecting organisations to create IT centres of breakthrough research. One of such centres may be created at Kazan federal university. Results of the contest are available on the website of Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media.
Research programmes of winners involve a wide range of areas, including bio informatics, big data analysis, robotics, quantum and optical technologies, human interface devices.
Winners will get support in creating IT centres of breakthrough research.

On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
