By the end of 2015 all Tatarstan libraries to use cloud-based technologies

Results of information support of regional and municipal libraries in 2013 were discussed at a meeting with heads of libraries organized by the Centre of information technologies (Kazan IT park).
CEO of the Centre of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova addressed the audience with welcoming speech: "Your work is very important, cause the younger generation red less books. So, information support of library fund is an attempt to involve young people in reading.” Now all librarians have got their personal e-mail address @tatar.ru that made their work easier.
17 central libraries were connected to the unified electronic library catalogue http://kitap.tatar.ru this year. 9 more libraries and 50 branches are to be connected to the system in 2014. Moreover, integration of http://kitap.tatar.ru with Portal of state services and installation of Wi-Fi hotspots in libraries are expected.

Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
