There are 2 mln 900 thousand Internet users in the Republic of Tatarstan. 1 mln 300 thousand of them use xDsl, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, WiMax, 3G, 4G. 86 per cent of population use 3G technology. More than 10000 people in Tatarstan use 4G connection.

Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Lavrov informed that the Unified State Exam will be controlled by cameras in 2014. Public observers and parents will be able to see live broadcast of the exam. Dmitry Lavrov noted that it is a compulsory measure now.

On December 11 Russian Deputy Minister of Communication and Mass Media Mark Shmulevich told that the Ministry of Communication and Mass Media and Ministry of Finance had agreed on introducing reduced insurance fees for IT companies.
