Pay for goods and transport using your smart phone

On March 27 ZAO “NSS” (Rostelecom subsidiary) , OAO “Ak Bars”, and MasterCard launched a joint project of contactless payment using NFC technology.
To make contactless payments, subscribers need a special sim card with Ak Bars bank application based on Mobile MasterCard PayPass® technology. The service is available on smart phones with NFC module.

Rostelecom subscribers can make contactless payments by touching terminals with MasterCard PayPass option, pay fares for underground and land transport, get bonuses and cash-back, pay for purchases at cash points equipped with MasterCard PayPass® technology.

The sim cards are produced by ZAO “NovaCard”.
