Rustam Minnikhanov and Igor Shegolev handed certificates to first residents of business incubator in IT-park

Business incubator for IT start – ups opened in Kazan in technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and RF Minister of communications and mass media Igor Shegolev took part in solemn opening ceremony.

Business incubator is a platform for support and development of prospective projects of new IT companies and their promotion at the external market. First-priority purposes of business incubator are creation of favorable conditions for developing projects of minor IT-companies, creation of site for open interaction among start-ups and exchange of information and, as a result, creation of new competitive production in IT sector.

Business incubator for 120 working places is located on the third floor of IT-park and is ready to accept 20 companies.

First contest selection of start-up projects to be located in business incubator was held in technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” on April, 18. New eleven IT-companies introduced presentations and business plans of their innovative projects to expert group.

The expert group consisted of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Director of GAU “Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” Dinar Nasyrov and representatives of IT business.

According to experts’ decision five start-ups presenting the most interesting and perspective projects were chosen, - company “Effektivno.rf” (automated model of assessing municipal employees), “SpeakTo” (audio service for distant learning), “Avtodoria” (the system of controlling observance of traffic regulations), “10tracks.ru” (the system of keeping and distribution of musical content), “Plusner” (internet service for sending messages).

RF Minister of communications and mass media Igor Shegolev and RT President Rustam Minnikhanov handed certificates for location in business incubator to leaders of these projects at the ceremony.

Six equipped working places with centralized secretariat in business incubator, accounting, legal, consulting and project management services will be granted to the winners.

The next contest selection of potential residents will be held on May,28 in IT-park.
