Socially significant channels of digital television to be available for all citizens of Tatarstan Republic

Full provision of republican population with socially significant TV channels should be the main result of implementing the Republican targeted program “Organization of digital television and radio broadcasting in Tatarstan Republic for 2011-2015”. This has been announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov at session of Republican commission on developing television and radio broadcasting and transfer to digital technologies in RT.
Working plans of Republican commission on organizing digital television and radio broadcasting in Tatarstan for 2011-2015 were presented at the session. The event was attended by Deputy director general of FGUP “Russian television and radio broadcasting network” Vladimir Goreglyad, COO of the branch - “Radio and television centre of Tatarstan Republic” Vladimir Yakimov, RT First deputy Minister of informatization and communications Yuri Bagrov, officials of republican ministries and departments.
Opening the session, Nikolai Nikiforov reminded that Russia will transfer to digital television in 2015. “Russian television and radio broadcasting network” will be the operator of ground broadcasting network.
In May 2010 RT Government and FGUP “Russian television and radio broadcasting network” signed Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of development of digital television and radio broadcasting.
The Minister emphasized that for Tatarstan introduction of digital television and radio broadcasting is important in terms of national and regional component and preparation for Universiade 2013. He stressed that republic strives for development of domestic information technologies and this activity should favor prosperous development of the region.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
