Mayor of Russia’s first IT town Innopolis elected

A 34-year-old Egor Ivanov was elected Mayor of Russia’s first IT town Innopolis on Thursday. Egor Ivanov has worked in IT industry for many years and has obtained wide experience in managing big infrastructural projects and technological startups.
Residents of the town also elected the local self-government and voted for inclusion of the Innopolis town in the Council of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
