On December 13, at a video conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov said that State Traffic Safety Inspectorate gave 144 traffic tickets upon claims sent to “Public inspector” system.
According to Roman Shaikhutdinov, the application “Public inspector” is available for downloading from November 8 and has been installed at 14, 000 devices.
1,538 claims have been sent since the system was launched, 2 per cent of which have been rejected.
Shaikhutdinov noted that most claims refer to parking on pavement.
Minnikhanov entrusted Ministry of Information and Communications and State Traffic Safety Inspectorate with organizing the information exchange between participants of the process, and called ministers, heads of municipalities and major enterprises for using the service “auto payment”.
