Campaign “Hour of code” to be held in Russia on December 4-12

The campaign “Hour of code” will be held in Russia on December 4-12. 10, 000 pupils will take part in the biggest educational event in IT industry. The campaign will be supported by Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Communications and Mass Media. The partners of the campaign are “Kaspersky laboratory”, “1C”, “VKontakte”, “Microsoft”, “Acronis”, “Zeptolab” and “Dnevnik.ru”.
The campaign is aimed at attracting pupils’ attention to IT, one of the most prospective industries today. Special informatics lessons will be held at all Russian schools, where teachers will tell about IT and opportunities of professional development in this sphere.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
