Iran’s Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs visits Kazan IT-park

On October 29, Iran’s Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs Sorena Sattari, who came to Kazan with a big Iranian delegation, consisted of members of Iranian Government, educational workers and employees of technology centers, visited Kazan IT-park. Sorena Sattari was accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
The delegation was met by the Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and Director of Kazan IT-park Anton Grachev.
Sorena Sattari is also a Chairman of the Board of guardians of Pardis technopark, one of the biggest technology parks in Iran.
During his visit to Kazan IT-park, the guest was told about Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny IT-parks. In business incubator the guests were told about one of startup projects, electronic state services, document management system and Innopolis.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
