Introduction of electronic textbooks discussed at Russian Ministry of Education

On August 8, First Deputy Minister of Education Natalia Tretyak, representatives of publishing houses, experts and representatives of Russian regions took part in a meeting on developing requirements for electronic textbooks.

The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by CEO of the Centre of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova and Director General of “Tatarmultfilm” publishing house Marat Ganiev.

To the point, the electronic version of every textbook published in Russia should be available from 2015. Five Tatarstan schools will start using electronic textbooks in chemistry and biology from new academic year.
