Tatarstan pupils preparing for International Olympiad in Informatics

Summer computer camp specializing in Olympiad Informatics “Baitik-2014” opened at Baitik camp today.
For 18 days pupils will be preparing for International Olympiad in Informatics that will be held in 2016 in Kazan. Pupils aged 12-17, participants and winners of municipal and regional rounds of All-Russia Olympiad in Informatics came to the camp.
Priority tasks of “Baitik-2014” are preparation for Russian and International Olympiads, development of communication skills to interact with students from different countries; exchange of methodological experience in solving tasks at national Olympiads in informatics of different countries; organization of recreation and holiday activities.

Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
