Viktor Vekselberg suggests that Kazan IT park and Skolkovo should become close friends

On July 4, Board Chairman of Renova group Viktor Vekselberg, Senior Vice-President of Skolkovo Fund Vasily Belov, Renova Deputy Board Chairman Rinat Khalikov and other representatives of Renova group visited Kazan IT park.
The guests were accompanied by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov.
Roman Shaikhutdinov presented IT park and told about Tatarstan experience in the sphere of informatization and high technologies. A big model of Innopolis was presented to the guests.
During their visit to Business incubator, members of the delegation were told about RoadAR project, a special programme for drivers, and a simulator for surgeons “Eidos”.
The electronic documents management system was also presented to the delegation.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
