About 5 thousand specialists of IT companies, students and teachers will become first residents of Innopolis

Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov told that about 5 thousand specialists of IT companies, students and teachers will become first residents of Innopolis.
The minister added that a road map on creation of Innopolis city district was approved and it appeared on Yandex maps.
Roman Shaikhutdinov said that there are two investors building their offices close to Special Economic Zone “Innopolis”.
Active work is currently underway with 50 Russian companies on work of their employees in Innopolis.
Roman Shaikhutdinov said that rental housing will be provided for Innopolis residents. Construction of main objects will be finished this year in December.
On December 29, the weekly meeting of the digital industry of Tatarstan discusses the key achievements of the republic in the IT sector for 2025:
• Gross industry revenue—269 billion roubles (forecast, +35% year-on-year);
On December 22, at the final meeting of Interdepartmental working group No. 15 for the implementation of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin welcomed the participants and summed up the work of the group for 2025 and presented impressive indicators for the development of the digital economy of Tatarstan.
At a weekly meeting, communication industry companies, subordinate organizations and heads of departments of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications discussed key achievements in the communication industry and digital development in 2025.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
