Robot Tespian to open Russian round of World Robot Olympiad in Kazan

Most emotional robot Tespian will open Russian round of World Robot Olympiad in Kazan (Tennis Academy, June 21). Tespian is the android robot, who came to Russia to open the Ball of robots in Moscow (May 15-June 15). The robot was especially made for intellectual and creative work. He has appeared on the stage several times, alone and with Angela Merkel and David Cameron, when they opened international exhibition in Hannover.
In Kazan Tespian will appear on the stage with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, and Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov.
Winners of the Russian round will represent Russia on World Robot Olympiad in Sochi in November.
The event is organized by Innopolis University, Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Ministry of Communications, Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication, Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Association of Educational Robotics and Institute of New Technologies.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
