All-Russia Robotics Olympiad to be held in Kazan on June 20-22

All-Russia Robotics Olympiad, the preliminary round of World Robot Olympiad – WRO, will be held outside Moscow for the first time.

The event is organized by Innopolis University, Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Ministry of Communications, Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication, Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Association of Educational Robotics and Institute of New Technologies. The media sponsor is business portal Tatcenter.

More than 250 teams from 35 Russian regions have registered on the website of All-Russia Robotics Olympiad wro2014.ru. By and large, 1, 000 people aged 6-20 are expected to take part in the event.
