Pupils compete for the title of IT champion

The number of participants of the regional contest “IT champion” now makes 100, 000. By and large, pupils have got 439, 802 scores since the contest started.
Pupils teach adults to use electronic services on the portal of state services. More than 112, 000 Tatarstan citizens saved logins of pupils from information system “Electronic education in the Republic of Tatarstan”. The first round of the contest was held on March 15-May 25, 153 pupils became winners. The second round started on May 26 and will last till December 10, 2014.

On December 29, the weekly meeting of the digital industry of Tatarstan discusses the key achievements of the republic in the IT sector for 2025:
• Gross industry revenue—269 billion roubles (forecast, +35% year-on-year);
On December 22, at the final meeting of Interdepartmental working group No. 15 for the implementation of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin welcomed the participants and summed up the work of the group for 2025 and presented impressive indicators for the development of the digital economy of Tatarstan.
At a weekly meeting, communication industry companies, subordinate organizations and heads of departments of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications discussed key achievements in the communication industry and digital development in 2025.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
