147 transport vehicles of children’s and juvenile sport schools equipped with GLONASS trackers

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication equipped 147 transport vehicles of children’s and juvenile sport schools with GLONASS/GPS navigation systems and connected them to the unified state information system GLONASS 112.
Works on installing navigation equipment at transport vehicles of children’s and juvenile sport schools have been carried out since February 2014 by Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication. Monitoring and control of schools buses is realized on the basis of the unified state information system GLONASS 112. 100 per cent of school buses are connected to the system.
The number of road accidents with school buses has decreased by 95 percent.
