Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov told about development of Tatarstan IT industry at St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
IT sphere if one of the most highly profitable activities today, and much emphasis is put on this industry in the republic from schools days. In a month Robotics Olympiad will be held in Tatarstan, World Programming Olympiad is to be held in 2016, 800 people take part in STEM programme of Innopolis University.
Moreover, startup project by analogy with Skolkovo is being realized in Tatarstan. Tatarstan experience can be used in other regions.
