Roman Shaikhutdinov speaks at conference “Teaching information technologies in Russia”

On May, 15, the 12th All-Russia conference “Teaching of information technologies in Russia” opened in Kazan. The conference is organized by the Association of enterprises of computer and information technologies and Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems of Kazan Federal University under the auspices of Tatarstan Government, Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Communication and Mass Media, and Russian Union of rectors.
Opening the conference, Roman Shaikhutdinov said: “Kazan is the right place for holding such forums. The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most leading regions in Russia, where innovative economic sectors are developing. IT industry is an important area of innovative economy development. Much attention is paid to training of IT specialists and creation of special conditions for IT companies in Tatarstan.”
Roman Shaikhutdinov told about Tatarstan innovative cluster, Innopolis project, IT lyceum with enhanced studying of natural studies for talented children of 7-11 forms, and Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems of Kazan Federal University.
Major regional and international IT companies, such as Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Oracle, IBM united to improve training of IT specialists at Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems.
Roman Shaikhutdinov also told about different IT projects for pupils and students that are implemented in the republic in cooperation with Russian and international companies.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
